Property Description
Situated 8 miles away from the Porquerolles harbor, in a unique and quiet spot near beaches, Le Mas du Langoustier is a charming four star rated hotel, it is exposed in the midst of sandy beaches and wild surroundings. The 50 spacious rooms are all of big comfort and all are equipped with air-conditioning, mini-bar, direct phone, safe deposit box, and television by satellite and modern bathrooms. Two restaurants available, LOlivier-gastronomic restaurant with an A la carte service and La Pinede-exclusively reserved to residents, offering buffet for lunch and the half board meals taken in the evenings. The isolated Mas du Langoustier is far from noise and traffic and offers a private beach, tennis court, biking, table tennis and for the lovers of nature-fantastic hikes. Vehicles being forbidden on our island, it is advised to park your car on the 24h surveillance parking lot at La Tour Fondue in Giens. To cross over to the island of Porquerolles-regular ferries leave from La Tour Fondue to Porquerolles-8 minute crossing. For time schedules please contact the ferry company at 00 33 4 94 58 21 81, once on the island, one of our shuttles will drive you to the hotel. You may also cross over with a boat taxi, to reserve, contact 00 33 6.09.52.31.19, the boat taxi can drop you directly on the hotel beach. For faster transportation, helicopters take off from the airport in Hyθres-00 33 4.94.00.50.65- and drop you off on our helipad. All bookings confirmations must be accompanied with a deposit corresponding to 30 % of the stay. In case of cancellation, the deposit cannot be used for a later stay. However, it will be refunded if your cancellation reaches us 15 days prior to your arrival date. During your stay, if you wish to shorten it, we kindly request you to inform our reception desk 72 hours in advance. On the contrary, a supplementary night will be charged. Please be informed that your room will only be at your disposal as from 3.00 p.m. on the day of your arrival and that check out time is noon on the day of your departure. Meals: Half board is mandatory at the hotel: the cost is 62 Euros per person and night. Breakfast will be served from 7.30 a.m. till 10.30 a.m. either in your room or as a buffet on our terrace. Lunch: Two restaurants at your disposal open from 12.30 p.m. till 2.00 p.m. La Pinede, reservation required for lunch. Suggestions: For EUR 27, a variety of salads from our buffet plus one dessert. For EUR 31, one starter-from buffet or A la carte-plus one hot dish plus cheese plus dessert. Child menu under 14: EUR 20. L Olivier-reservation required for lunch-a more elaborate restaurant offering gastronomic dishes. Dinner will be served from 7.30 p.m. till 9.00 p.m. exclusively in La Pinede. The menu that will be presented to you and will give you a choice between two starters and a choice between two main courses followed by cheese and dessert. Leisure activities: The beach is within walking distance from the hotel, it is a public beach, with part of it reserved to our hotel. Mattress and parasols will be graciously at your disposal. You will find beach towels in your room. A large variety of activities are suggested, also at your disposal-table tennis, biking, Petanque, two tennis courts and numerous hikes. We do not rent bikes, however we can, upon your request, organize renting it for you. The island of Porquerolles is supplied with water by ground water. Water being rare, we kindly ask our guests to make a reasonable use of it-thank you.
